• Arrests
Michael Montrell Emanuel, 26, was arrested at the Burnet County Jail at noon Wednesday on a 132nd District Court warrant for motion to revoke probation on an original charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.
Christian Blain Lopez, 20, was arrested at the Kingswood Apartments at 12:28 a.m. today on a district court warrant for failure to appear at a show cause hearing and on a Scurry County warrant for criminal trespassing.
A 27-year-old female was arrested for public intoxication in the 2500 block of Ave. R at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
• Accident
A two-vehicle accident was reported on the Kingswood Apartments parking lot at 11:46 p.m. Wednesday.
• Fires
A controlled burn was called in at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday from U.S. Hwy. 180, three miles west of Randals’ Corner.
At 7:59 p.m. Wednesday, a fire was reported on Ira School Road. The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and told that the school was having a bonfire and all was in order.
• Water leak
A water leak was reported in the 2800 block of 47th Street at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday. The Snyder Water Department was notified.
• Animal concern
A calf was loose on Camp Springs Road, approximately one mile east of Ennis Creek Road, at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday.
• Wednesday blotter notes
Scurry County EMS responded to one medical call.
Three non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Five close patrols were requested.
Six 911 hang-up calls were received.
Law enforcement responded to two civil issues.
