• Arrest
Ashley Marie Elizondo, 21, was arrested in the 1300 block of 25th Street at 9:45 a.m. Thursday for possession of a controlled substance in an amount greater than four grams, but less than 200 grams, possession of less than two grams of marijuana and for possession of drug paraphernalia.
• Thefts
A person went to the Scurry County Sheriff’s Office at 4:02 p.m. Thursday to report $200 was stolen from his bank account.
At 4:27 p.m. Thursday, a license plate was reported stolen from a motorcycle in the 2500 block of Ave. U.
A cell phone was reported stolen at Snyder Intermediate School at 5:13 p.m. Thursday.
• Fire
A fire was reported at a residence in the 200 block of 33rd Street at 7:03 p.m. Thursday. The caller advised that there were no flames, only smoke, and everyone was out of the residence. The Snyder Fire Department was dispatched, but any fire was out when firefighters arrived.
• Animal concern
Several goats were loose on Hwy. 208, north of Renegade Services, at 1:10 a.m. today.
• Thursday blotter notes

Two non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.
Five alarms were reported.
One close patrol was requested.
