The 2400 block of Ave. B will be closed until 5 p.m. today as demolition of the water tower at Ave. B, between 24th and 25th streets, begins.
The closure is due to the crane being used in the demolition of the tower, according to a press release from the City of Snyder. The demolition is projected to be finished by the end of the day.
The water tower at the intersection of College Ave. and Kings Hwy. Place will be demolished Saturday, with one lane of College Ave. being closed at the intersection from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Snyder City Manager Merle Taylor said. The demolition is projected to be finished by Saturday evening.
