Police blotter for Sept. 22, 2015

•Arrests

Crystal Sha Brown, 25, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the 2400 block of College Ave. for possession of a controlled substance.

A 25-year-old male was arrested at 11:24 p.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of College Ave. for driving while intoxicated

Police arrested a 34-year-old male and a 39-year-old male at 5:15 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of College Ave., both for public intoxication.

A 24-year-old female was arrested at 5:08 p.m. Sunday in the 3200 block of Ave. C for driving while license invalid.

Two men were arrested in the 2700 block of Ave. M at 9:20 p.m. Sunday. A 37-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for speeding and a 28-year-old male was arrested on a warrant for theft of property.

A 70-year-old male was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of 25th Street for public intoxication.

Two people were arrested at 1:45 a.m. today in the 2600 block of El Paso Ave. A 27-year-old female was arrested for no driver’s license and a 32-year-old male was arrested on warrants for driving while license invalid and child not in safety seat.

•Burglary

A person went to the law enforcement center at 3:34 p.m. Saturday to speak with an officer to report someone had broken into a storage building at J&K Rentals on Ave. O.

•Animal concerns

Three sheep were reported in a ditch on the side of FM 1606 near Blockline Road at 7:46 a.m. Saturday.
A dog was attacking another dog in the 1800 block of KSNY Drive at 5:34 p.m. Sunday

•Loud music

Loud music was reported at the intersection of Ave. F and 33rd Street at 8 p.m. Saturday, in the 3600 block of 40th Street at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, at the intersection of Ave. F and 33rd Street at 11:58 p.m. Saturday and in the 11000 block of CR 4109 at 2:46 a.m. Sunday.

•Weekend blotter notes

Scurry County EMS responded to five medical calls.

Ten non-accident, traffic-related calls were received.

Six alarms were reported.

Three close patrols were requested.
