Scurry County voters can head to the polls Tuesday and cast their ballots in the Democratic Primary.
Registered voters who voted in the March Democratic primary or who did not vote in either party’s March primary may vote in the runoff election.
The Democratic runoff here features only two races: Royce West vs. M.J. Hegar for a spot on the U.S. Senate ballot and Roberto R. Alonzo vs. Chrysta Castaneda for a spot on the ballot for Railroad Commissioner. Polling places open Tuesday will be the Scurry County Library, the Towle Park Armory, the north or the south side of The Coliseum, Roy Sallee Gymnasium in Ira, Hermleigh School and the Scurry County Courthouse. Eligible voters may vote at any location, regardless of where they live.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
