Price Daniel inmate indicted for drug possession in prison

A Price Daniel Unit inmate was indicted this month for possession of a prohibited substance in a correctional facility.

Paris Castillo, 27, was indicted for the third-degree felony of possessing buprenorphine at the Price Daniel Unit on Aug. 31, 2015.

The grand jury was told Castillo was convicted of manslaughter in Bernalillo County, N.M. in 2009 and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in 2014 in Potter County.

Bond was set at $5,000.
