Dr. Charles Church will conduct the annual vaccination clinic from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 9 in The Coliseum annex.
The clinic date was moved  up two months due to an increase in the number of rabid skunk reports in the area.
“There have been at least six rabid skunks reported in recent weeks,” Church said.
He cautioned anyone against approaching an animal that is acting strangely.
“If you see a skunk walking around in the day time, there is a good chance it could be infected,” Church said. “Skunks tend to be nocturnal animals.”
He said it is OK for animals vaccinated at the 2015 clinic to have their vaccinations renewed a few weeks early.
Vaccinations for dogs will include rabies ($12), Parvo ($11), DHP ($12), Bordetella ($17), kennel cough ($17) and rattlesnake ($22).
Vaccination combinations will be rabies and Parvo ($23); rabies, Parvo and distemper ($35); and rabies, Parvo, distemper and Bordetella ($52).
Puppy vaccinations will be Parvo ($11), distemper and measles ($17.50) and distemper, measles and Parvo ($28.50).
Feline vaccinations include rabies ($12), Fe-LV ($30) and FVRCP ($12). A combination of rabies, Fe-LV and FVRCP will cost $54.
Church said pet owners should have exact change and no annual vaccination reminders will be mailed out.
