Snyder City Council election to be postponed

The Snyder City Council election featuring a race between incumbent Steve Rich and challenger Mitch Hickman to represent District 2 was postponed until November 3.
The council met by video conference on Monday and voted unanimously to move the election due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new date corresponds with the November general election, when citizens will vote for a host of federal offices including President, Senator and Representative, as well as statewide offices including State Representative.
