Snyder man agrees to 25 years in prison for DWI

Before a jury could be seated Tuesday afternoon, a 60-year-old Snyder man reached a plea agreement for driving while intoxicated.
Matthew Clarence Lyle will serve 25 years in a Texas Department of Criminal Justice facility for the third-degree felony.
Lyle will also pay $494 in court costs, $600 in attorney fees and $90 in restitution.
His driver’s license was suspended for 270 days, effective Nov. 1.
Lyle was arrested on Feb. 8 and indicted by a Scurry County grand jury in September.
He has two previous driving while intoxicated convictions in Scurry County, in 1993 and 2014.
