A Snyder man was given a probated sentence on a sex offender charge in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom this week.
Danny Eugene Baker, 45, was given a two-year sentence, probated five years, after he entered a guilty plea to a state-jail felony charge of failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Baker failed to register with law enforcement, which he is required to do annually, after he was convicted of indecency with a child.
In addition to his sentence, Baker was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine and $953 in court and attorney fees, and to participate in the TAIP program.
