A Snyder man is headed to prison after he was adjudicated guilty in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom this week.
Bryson Reid Higgins, 31, was originally given a two-year sentence, probated five years, deferred adjudication, after he entered a plea agreement on a state-jail felony charge of possession of a controlled substance in August 2013.
At that time he was also ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, $140 in restitution and $146 in court costs.
He was later convicted in November 2015 for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver in Garza County, a charge stemming from a March 8, 2015 incident.
In March 2012, Higgins was found in possession of less than a gram of methamphetamine, leading to the original charge and plea.
