A Snyder woman was given probation in one case and had another charge dismissed in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom recently.
Veronica Morin Jaramillo, 25, had her charge of burglary of habitation dropped after she entered a guilty plea to a second-degree felony charge of burglary of a building.
In exchange for that plea she was given a seven-year probated sentence, deferred adjudication, and ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, $953 in court and attorney fees and to participate in the TAIP program.
She must also serve 90 days in the Scurry County Jail.
On Sept. 15, Jaramillo entered the home of her victim and attempted to steal a computer tablet.
