A Snyder woman was given a probated sentence after entering a guilty plea on a burglary charge in District Judge Ernie B. Armstrong’s courtroom this week.
Staphany Arizmendi, 24, was given a five-year probated sentence, deferred adjudication, as part of her plea deal on a second-degree felony charge of burglary of a habitation.
In addition to her sentence, Arizmendi was ordered to pay a $1,500 fine, $350 in restitution, $943 in court and attorney fees and to participate in the TAIP program.
On Aug. 24, she entered the habitation of her victim and attempted to steal U.S. currency and prescription medications.
