Sunday fire being investigated as arson

The Snyder Fire Department is investigating a possible arson which occurred early Sunday morning.
The fire department responded to a call at 1:42 a.m. Sunday in reference to smoke coming from a residence in the 2900 block of Ave. V.
The fire department dispatched three trucks and 16 firefighters to the fire. There were flames inside the residence, which firefighters were able to extinguish.
Deputy Fire Marshal Brad Bawcum said the fire department is investigating the fire as arson.
