Three to be inducted in Hall of Honor Saturday

This year’s inductees into the Snyder High School theater department’s Hall of Honor include Powers Boothe, Barry Tubb and Brad Maule.
They will be inducted during the Saturday ceremony at Snyder High School. 
Boothe, who graduated from Snyder in 1966, won an Emmy in 1980 for his role in Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones. Among his other TV and film credits are Philip Marlowe, Private Eye (1983), Red Dawn (1984), Tombstone (1993), Mutant Species (1994), Nixon (1995), 24 (2001), Deadwood (2004), Nashville (2012) and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013).
Maule, a 1970 Snyder graduate, worked as a backup singer for Bob Gentry, Jim Nabors and Don Ho, among others, and has released a couple of albums. Among his TV credits are Charlie’s Angels (1976), Three’s Company (1977), The White Shadow (1978), Too Close for Comfort (1980), Malibu (1983) and General Hospital (1984-2006).
Among Tubb’s TV and film credits are Hill Street Blues (1981), Bay City Blues (1983), Mask (1985), The Legend of Billie Jean (1985), Top Gun (1986), Billionaire Boys Club (1987), Lonesome Dove (1989), and Return to Lonesome Dove (1993). Tubb graduated from Snyder in 1981.
In addition to the three individual honorees, the cast and crew of the state champion 1970 one-act play Elizabeth: The Queen, will be inducted and Janeen Patterson will be honored for her longtime support of the theater department.
The gala will begin dinner at 4:30 p.m. in the Snyder High School cafeteria before a performance of this year’s state-qualifying one-act play A View from the Bridge in Worsham Auditorium. 
Tickets for the dinner, performance and ceremony are $25. Table sponsorships are available for $250 for a table of eight and $150 for a half-table. Tickets are available at Spanish Inn.
