Three indicted by county grand jury

Three people were arrested this week after being indicted by a Scurry County grand jury.
Anthony Diego Martinez, 24, was indicted for bail jumping and failure to appear, a third degree felony. According to the indictment, Martinez missed a court hearing on Sept. 9 related to his arrest for evading arrest or detention with a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $20,000.
Lisa Cantu, 49, of Snyder, was indicted for state jail felony theft for an Aug. 23 offense. The indictment stated Cantu attempted to steal a cup, clothing and a razor valued under $2,500 from her victim. Bond was set at $5,000.
The indictment also stated Cantu was twice convicted of theft in Scurry County in 2018.
Jeremy Foley, 39, of Big Spring, was indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, a third degree felony. The indictment stated Foley, who was arrested on Feb. 17, possessed a firearm prior to the fifth anniversary of his 2016 conviction for burglary of a building in Childress County. Bond was set at $5,000.
