Thursday is the final day to vote for the best decorated Christmas tree and L’il Mr. and Miss Christmas at the Scurry County Museum.
Voting is scheduled to end at 5:30 p.m. for both contests. The winners will be announced during Saturday’s Magic of Christmas, which will begin at 10 a.m.
“There are many trees in the lobby and lots of cute kids to vote for,” said Daniel Schlegel Jr., the museum’s executive director.
On Saturday, several activities are planned for the Magic of Christmas, including a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus. Children will be able to take pictures with the Clauses. The Snyder Intermediate School choir will sing Christmas carols and holiday food will be available.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 10 and 17. Children under 10 will be admitted free.
