Two indicted for unlawful possession of weapon

Two men were recently arrested on Scurry County grand jury indictments for third degree felony unlawful possession of a firearm.
Juan Armando Martinez, 31, of Snyder, was arrested on May 17, which was prior to the fifth anniversary of his release from jail for aggravated assault, family violence, the indictment stated. He was convicted of the assault in 2012 in Scurry County, court records showed. His bond was set at $5,000.
Jeremy Foley, 38, of Big Spring, was indicted on the possession charge after being arrested on Feb. 17, which was prior to him being released from his Childress County conviction for burglary of a building, the indictment stated. He was convicted of the burglary charge in 2016, court records showed. His bond was set at $5,000.
Two other people were arrested this month on grand jury indictments.
Kevin Mark Basford, 42, of Los Angeles, Calif., was indicted for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. He was arrested on the state jail felony on April 15, court documents stated. His bond was set at $5,000.
Sabrina Gutierrez Perez, 44, of Midland, was indicted for driving while intoxicated, a third degree felony. She was arrested on April 14. The indictment stated Perez was convicted of driving while intoxicated in 1999 and 2010, both times in Scurry County. Bond was set at $5,000.
