Williams seeks re-election as Pct. 1 county commissioner

Terry Williams has announced his candidacy for re-election as the Pct. 1 Scurry County Commissioner.
In announcing his candidacy, Williams said, “To my friends, family and neighbors of Pct. 1, in the past, I’ve written and hand-delivered letters to keep everyone informed of past and upcoming projects in our precinct. In keeping with that tradition of transparency, yet to also move along with the times, I recently created a Facebook page to give Pct. 1 voters a chance to let me know what you think about important decisions coming up in future court meetings.
“Also, this allows me to communicate to voters important information when available.
“If you are interested in getting this information, but are not a registered voter, please register at the County Clerk’s office so I can invite you to participate on Facebook. I encourage all Pct. 1 voters to participate. All I ask is we be respectful to one another.

“Please pray for me to be a better public servant going forward. While I know I can’t always please everyone, I hope I can please our God as I serve you.
“Thank you for past support. I ask for your very important vote in 2016.”
