Jerry Beard
1945-2019
Gerald Owen “Jerry” Beard went to be with his Lord and Savior at Covenant Health Systems in Lubbock Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at the age of 73. 
Funeral service for Mr. Beard will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Lubbock. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park with Dr. Richard Rush officiating. The service will be under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Jerry was born on Dec. 24, 1945 in Snyder to Haskell and Elizabeth Beard. He graduated from Snyder High School in 1964 and followed in his family footsteps to Texas Tech University, graduating in 1968 with a degree in education. He married Frances Davenport in 1969. 
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bill Beard.
Survivors include his wife, Frances, of Lubbock; one daughter, Melissa Carrasco and her husband, Darin, of Helotes; one son, Christopher Beard of Dallas; one brother, Bobby Beard and his wife, Diane, of Snyder; one granddaughter, Carly Carrasco of Helotes; and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends. 
Memorials may be made to the Red Raider Club, the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network or Calvary Baptist Church. 

Bryson Jenkins
1983-2019
Bryson Jenkins, 36 of Snyder, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral service for Mr. Jenkins will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Snyder with Jay Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the  funeral home.
Mr. Jenkins was born on March 9, 1983 in Big Spring to Delbert and Jackie (Phillips) Jenkins. He was a lifelong resident of Snyder and graduated from Snyder High School in 2001.  Mr. Jenkins worked at Pioneer Furniture.
Survivors include his parents, Delbert and Jackie Jenkins of Snyder; one daughter, Haycee Mari Jenkins, and her mother, Mikki Botts; one sister, Misty Jenkins of Snyder; one niece, Alexxus Lane of Snyder; three nephews, Seth Lane, Matt Lane and Olin Lane, all of Snyder; his grandfather, Jerry Horn; and many cousins and friends.

Robert Parks
1961-2019
Robert Lynn Parks, 58, died June 26, 2019 in Midland. 
Graveside service for Mr. Parks will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Snyder Cemetery. The service will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Born on Jan. 25, 1961 to Garland Parks and Lila Mae (Parks) Dempsey, he never married or had any children. He enjoyed working with computers and cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Mark Nash.
Survivors include two sisters, Dolores Sydow and her husband, Don, of Odessa and Sharon Nash of Midland; two nephews, Curt Sydow and his wife, Soni, of Odessa and Eric L. Nash of Midland; and one niece, Rachel A. Kinman and her husband, Daniel, of Midland.
