Snyder First Assembly of God is sponsoring a back-to-school clothes drive through Aug. 1.
Gently-used clothing of all sizes, new undergarments, shoes, socks and school supplies may be dropped off at the church, Snyder Chamber of Commerce office or the Snyder Daily News office.
All donations will be sorted and them distributed from 8 a.m. to noon Aug, 6 in the church’s fellowship hall.
Organizer Melissa Courtney said free haircuts for school-age children will be available during the distribution. Representatives from Snyder Smiles will have a booth providing dental information for parents.
