The Western Texas College softball team swept a doubleheader with El Paso Community College at United Field Saturday.
WTC defeated El Paso 6-1 in the first game and 12-6 in the nightcap to finish a four-game sweep of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference series.
The Lady Westerners (16-14, 4-0) are tied for the conference lead with Howard College, Odessa College and Midland Colledge.
WTC will play a four-game conference series against Luna Community College in Las Vegas, N.M. starting Friday.
