Mary Floyd
1936-2016
Mary Jimm Wade Stinson Floyd died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene.
A memorial service for Mrs. Floyd will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Snyder with the Rev. Dana Mayfield officiating. A graveside service will be held at Snyder Cemetery prior to the memorial service. The services will be under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Jack Gonzales Sr.
1938-2016
Ismael “Jack” Gonzales Sr., 78, of Snyder, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2016 in Lubbock.
A celebration of life memorial service for Mr. Gonzales will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Rivers of Living Water Church. The morning service will be dedicated to Pastor Jack (Papaw) Gonzales Sr. The service will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mr. Gonzales was born on Feb. 12, 1938 in Snyder to Eduardo and Andrea Gonzales. He married Louise Wright. He was the pastor at Temple Baptista Church in Snyder for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Ismael “Pinky” Gonzales Jr. and Joel Lynn Gonzales; one daughter, Gloria Diane Gonzales; and several brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Gonzales of Snyder; two sons, Jeffrey Gonzales and Gary Gonzales; one stepson, John David Castillo; four stepdaughters, Norma Jean Gonzales, Erma Hernandez, Frances Castillo and Amy May; two sisters, Ruth Arauza and Eva Morin; one brother, Raul Gonzales; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

La Vera Pruitt
1940-2016
La Vera Ann Pruitt, 76, of Snyder, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Snyder.
Graveside service for Mrs. Pruitt will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Hillside Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tommy Culwell officiating. The service will be under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Born on March 11, 1940 in Snyder to A.E. and Elnora (Strickland) Clark, she married Joe Pruitt in Lovington, N.M. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 2006. She was a member of Colonial Hill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Survivors include one son, Cody Pruitt of Snyder; two daughters, Leanne Roberson of Lubbock and Mary Courtney and her husband, James Courtney Jr., of Midland; one granddaughter, Cheyenne Schulein and her husband, Kyle, of Snyder; three grandsons, Taylor Courtney and his wife, Saira, and Tylor Courtney, all of Midland, and V.T. Roberson II of Lubbock; and four great-grandchildren, Elladora Schulein and Drago Schulein, both of Snyder, and Jenesis Courtney and Taylor Courtney, both of Midland.

Joe Price
1924-2016
Joe Price, 91, of Snyder, died Thursday, March 28, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral service for Mr. Price will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Garden under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Donald Ray
1936-2016
Donald Gene Ray, 79, of Snyder, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 in Lubbock.
Funeral service for Mr. Ray will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church Chapel with David Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on Sept. 24, 1936 in Electra to Jack and Lilly (Strange) Ray, he married the love of his life, Amelia Begeman, on June 2, 1956 in Electra. Don was an affectionate husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He retired from Mobil Corporation in 1996 and moved to Snyder, where he lived for 20 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking and being actively involved in the lives of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Lilly Ray; his stepmother who raised him, Mary Brock Ray; and one brother, Johnny Ray.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Amelia (Begeman) Ray of Snyder; one son, Greg Ray and his wife, Tracy, of Weatherford; one daughter, K’Ann Fletcher and her husband, Curtis, of Snyder; four granddaughters, Summer Campbell and her husband, Clark, of Goldthwaite, Megan Greene and her husband, Aaron, and Brenna Fletcher, all of Snyder, and Kristen Hager and her husband, Eric, of Rochester; eight great-grandchildren, Cutter Campbell, Carsyn Campbell and Owen Campbell, all of Goldthwaite, Ainsley Greene and Aniston Greene, both of Snyder, and Kenzli Hager, Wylder Hager and Landree Hager, all of Rochester; and one brother, Wayne Ray of Bridge City.
