Russell Blakey, 62, of Snyder died Monday, August 24, 2020.

Mr. Blakey was born June 9, 1958, in Snyder to Richard and Bobbye (Gandy) Blakey. He married Lila Foster on Oct. 20, 1978, in Snyder.
He was preceded in deatyh by his father.
Survivors include his wife of Snyder; his daughter, Alicia Wagner and husband, David, of Snyder; his son, Zachery Blakey of Snyder; his mother of Snyder; his brother, Richard Blakey II of Houston; two grandsons, Aarron Irwin and wife, Santanya, of Snyder and Reese Blakey of Snyder;his granddaughter, Keylee Wagner of Snyder; his great-grandson, Carson Irwin of Snyder; and his nephew, Richard Blakey III and wife, Katya, of Houston.

Martha Elizabeth (Dodson) Goolsby
1949-2020
Martha Elizabeth (Dodson) Goolsby, 71, died Monday, August 24, 2020.
A memorial service for Mrs. Goolsby will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home with John Pena officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Mrs. Goolsby was born on Feb. 10, 1949, in Lamesa to Floyd and Martha (Warren) Dodson. She was a member of Deep Creek Church in Dunn. She loved her family, dogs and quilting. She was a prison guard for more than 20 years at the Price Daniel Unit.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J.C. Goolsby; two daughters, Candy Goolsby and Leslie Goolsby; and two brothers, Lewis Dodson and Bill Dodson.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne Hardy and wife, Melissa, of Hobbs, N.M., Terry Lynn Goolsby Sr. of Snyder and Terry Lynn Goolsby Jr. of Snyder; two daughters, Belinda Hart of Odessa and Melynda Goolsby of Snyder; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alvin Dodson and wife, Ann, of Snyder and Jimmy Dodson of Snyder; her sister, Marylene Wright of Snyder; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Susie (Alarcon) Pena

Susie (Alarcon) Pena, 71, of Snyder, died Monday, Aug. 24, 2020.
A rosary will be recited for Mrs. Pena at 6 p.m. Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Jeremy Trull officiating.
Mrs. Pena was born May 6, 1949, in Poteet to Joaquin and Romana (Berrones) Alarcon. She married Ruben Pena Jan. 22, 1972, in Snyder. She was a strong lady who loved her family. Enjoying time with her brothers, sister and grandchildren was special to her. She also had tremendous faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Elaine and Sandra Pena; two sisters, Pauline Carrisalez and Eva Guerra; and two brothers, Frank and Raymond Alarcon.
Survivors include her husband; Husband; two daughters, Suzanne Pena of Snyder and Valerie Pena of Snyder; two brothers, Joaquin Alarcon Jr. and wife, Rosa, of Snyder and Johnny Alarcon and wife, Rosie, of Austin; her sister, Mary Helen Martinez and husband, Antonio, of Snyder; and her granddaughter, Nicole Pena of Snyder.
