Thomas Cartwright

Thomas Nathan “Shorty” Cartwright, 89, of Snyder, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2019 in Lubbock.
Funeral service for Mr. Cartwright will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Cartwright was born on Nov. 5, 1929 in Houston to Joseph and Ella Cartwright. He served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. He married Gladys Beatrice on Jan. 12, 1967. She preceded him in death. Thomas worked in maintenance at Snyder Oaks Care Center and Pool Drilling Company for many years.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Onita May.
Survivors include one son, Wesley Cartwright of Conroe; one daughter, Helen Huddler of Vidor; one daughter-in-law, Trisha Dodson and her husband, Lewis, of Ira; several grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Carol D. Miller, 89, of Snyder, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 at her home.
Funeral service for Mrs. Miller will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Colonial Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
