Donna Bowman
1941-2019
Donna Jeane Neal Bowman, 78, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in Arlington.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Allcorn and Dr. Jeff Reid of the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Sunday  at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene.
Donna was born on May 10, 1941 in Snyder to the late Ralph and Koy (Holmes) Neal. 
She graduated from Snyder High School and Hardin-Simmons University. She and Richard Lee Bowman were married on June 5, 1964 in Snyder. Donna was a schoolteacher for the Abilene Independent School District for 31 years and was a member of Pioneer Drive Baptist Church.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Melissa Lynn Couch, on Feb. 16, 2015.
Survivors include her granddaughter, Maegan Clark and her husband, Rocky, of Arlington; her grandson, Colton Couch and his wife, Kayla, of Abilene; her great-granddaughter, Ashlynn Crosswhite of Arlington; and three sisters, Myrle Gafford, Barbara Gray and Ralphene Canon, all of Snyder.

Kris Jasper
1976-2019
Mrs. Maria “Kris” Kristene Jasper, 42 of Snyder, died on Thursday, June 6, 2019 in  Slaton.
A funeral service for Mrs. Jasper will be held on Monday, June 10, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with  Pastor Pete Flores and Deacon Charlie Rubalcado officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, June 10, 2019, from 1-2 p.m. at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
 Kris was born on Oct. 18, 1976 in Lockney to Michael  and Mary (Flores) Haynes. She married Jay Jasper on Sept. 1, 2001 in Lenexa, Kan.
Kris loved her husband and children. Her goal was always to bring her very best for them. She was extremely proud of her brothers and felt that they were her protectors. She enjoyed cooking with her husband. 
She also enjoyed him cleaning the house! Kristene loved her candle making business, and her brother, David, would buy 99 percent of them. 
She was a loving and caring mother. Kris was and is loved by all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Jasper, of Snyder; two daughters, Bonnie Jasper and Samantha Jasper, both of Snyder; two sons, Andrew Jasper of Snyder and Kenan Haynes of Kansas City, Mo.; her mother, Bary Berdeja of Snyder; a sister, Sarah Rentrop of Melton, Mo.; and two brothers, Michael Berdeja and wife, Ruth, of Snyder, and David Haynes and wife, Eva, of Crosbyton.

Joe Sartain
1952-2019
Joe Bob Sartain, 67, of Snyder, died Tuesday, June 4, 2019 in Snyder.
A memorial service for Mr. Sartain will be held at 2 p.m. June 15 at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Jason Chapman officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. June 15 at the funeral home.
