Mary Martin Munoz

1934-2020

Mary Martin Munoz, 86, died Saturday, June 6, 2020.

A Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Arsenio C. Redulla officiating. Burial will follow at Loraine Cemetery under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Ms. Munoz was born on April 16, 1934, in Champion to Jose Trinidad and Epigeminia (Martin) Munoz. She worked at Fuller Foods for a number years and she enjoyed watching EWTN and praying her rosary daily. 

She was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the T.O.P.S. Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers, Gregorio, Paublo, Marcelino, Jesus, Delores, Manuel and infant brother Jose Munoz; and four sisters, Refugio Munoz, Angelina Munoz, Juanita DeLoera and Infant sister Felicita Munoz.

Survivors include a niece, Otilia DeLoera of Snyder; a great-nephew, Justin Rios of Arlington; three great-nieces, Monica Arce and husband, Alfredo, of Snyder, Marcela Rios of Snyder and Loretta Murillo and husband, Hugo, of Snyder; four great-great-nephews, Martin and Marcos Lagunas and Julian and Israel Murrillo; four great-great-nieces, Isabella "Isa" Arce, Michelle Rios, Milagros Murrillo and Karlee Rios; and numerous nephews, nieces, great-Nephews and great-nieces, and great-great-nephews and great-great-nieces.

Thomas David Rhone

1947-2020

Thomas David Rhone, 73, died Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 37th Street Church of Christ with Mr. Mark Williamson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home at Hillside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Rhone was born on April 8, 1947, in Bowie to Hugh and Marie (Leisy) Rhone. He married Judy Hardison on July 9, 1969, in Bowie. He was a U.S. Navy Vet and was known for his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Tanya Rhone; and a brother, John Rhone.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tracy Sanders and husband, Les, of Snyder; three grandsons, Kevin, Kade and Kanyon Sanders, all of Snyder; two granddaughters, Kellie and Kassidy Sanders, both of Snyder; four brothers, Stanley Rhone and wife, Glynda, of Cleburne, Bill Rhone and wife, Leonita, of Houston, Kenny Rhone of Omaha, Neb., and Jodie Rhone and wife, Karen, of Wichita Falls; two sisters, Barbara Robertson and husband, Kenny, of Bowie and Judy Pilgreen and husband, Ralph, of Waurika, Okla.

Sherry Lynn Tiller

1978-2020

Sherry Lynn Tiller, 42, died Sunday, June 7, 2020.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tiller was born on February 11, 1978, in McKinney to Gehrman and Mary Ann (Saldibar) Werner. She loved animals,building fishing lures and following clouds/chasing storms; and she loved the color purple.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Minnie Lou Werner; and maternal grandfather, John Saldibar.

Survivors include her husband, Charlie Tiller of Snyder; two sons, Cooper Tiller of Snyder and Brandon Forder of San Antonio; a daughter, Caitlyn Tiller of Snyder; her father, Gary Werner and wife, Anne, of Celina; her mother, Mary Ann Werner of Carrollton; a sister, Mitzi McDonald and husband, Chuck, of Midlothian; a brother, Gehrman Paul Werner and wife, Missy Fritz, of Celina; her paternal grandfather, Robert Paul Werner of Celina; her maternal grandmother, Rose Saldibar of Snyder; three uncles, Mark Saldibar of Lewisville, John Saldibar of New York, N.Y., and Michael Saldibar of Snyder; an aunt, Jan Werner of McKinney; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
