Kenneth Stanley
1952-2021
Kenneth Stanley, 68, of Post, died Feb. 21, 2021.
A funeral service was held Feb. 26 at Hudman Funeral Home in Post.
He was born August 2, 2952 to Cotton Stanley and Betty Perkins Stanley. His childhood years were spent in Spur, the family later moving to Snyder where he attended high school and Western Texas College.
Kenneth drove a dozer for Grimmett Brothers for several years. He later moved to Post and was in the trucking business with his brother Joe.
He was preceded in death by his dad and two brothers, Joe and Dicky Stanley.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Stanley, sister Patsy Wilks and her husband Kim and his sister-in-law Ruthell Stanley.
Richard Mack Ferguson
1948-2021
Richard Mack Ferguson, 72, of Hermleigh died Friday, Feb. 26, 2021.
A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, March 7 at the Petersburg Cemetery.
He was born August 3, 1948 in Akron, Ohio. Richard grew up in Mexia.
After college he joined the U.S. Air Force where he served as a pilot for 20 years. After honorable discharge, he became a contract pilot for the U.S. government, retiring in 2011.
On July 19, 1991 Richard married Gina in Key West, Fla. They made their home in Hermleigh in 1997.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, G. W. and Felton Marie Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years, Gina as well as his children and grandchildren.
