Sallie Bailey, 86, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020.   

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel prior to the funeral service at 2 p.m. The graveside service will follow at Hillside Memorial Gardens. Grandson Jeremy Harper will officiate at the service. 

Sallie Anne Hogue was born March 8,1934, to James Franklin Hogue and Hattie Myrtle Cathcart Hogue in Colorado City. For most of her life she lived on their farm south of Lamesa near Sparenberg. She graduated from Klondike in 1952.

Sallie married Roy Earl Bailey on July 4, 1952. During their marriage they lived several places including El Paso, Big Spring, Midland and Snyder.

Most of her life was lived in Snyder, Texas where she and her family attended Colonial Baptist Church and where she taught Sunday School class and helped with the youth group.  She was a co-owner and secretary for Snyder Glass & Mirror for many years.  Sallie was a very talented seamstress, cook and cake decorator.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, James Franklin Hogue Jr.; her son, Glen Allen Bailey; and her granddaughter, Rebekah Olson Leverton. 

Survivors include her husband of 68 years; her sister, Jane Ellen Hogue Brown; her children, Nancy Olson of Lubbock, Sue Bedingfield and her husband, Gene, of New Braunfels, Trissa Green and her husband, Steve, of Big Spring and Craig Bailey and his wife, Misty, of Big Spring; grandchildren, Jon Olson, Marc Olson and his wife, Wendy, Christopher Olson and his wife, Carré, Monica Olson Smith, Jeremy Harper, Sarah Harper Becker and her husband, Lance, Amanda Harper Patterson, Luke Green and his wife, Jamie, Mindy Cauble and her husband Trey, Nick Bailey and Stormy Bailey; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.  

Pallbearers are her grandsons Jon Olson, Marc Olson, Chris Olson, Jeremy Harper, Luke Green, Nick Bailey, Trey Cauble and Lance Becker.
