Judy Gann
1943-2019
Judy Carroll (Bennett) Gann, 75, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2019.
Funeral service for Mrs. Gann will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Darold Baldwin officiating. 
Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Born on Dec. 29, 1943 in Rotan to Hubert Bennett and Maimie (Smith) Bennett Murphree, she married Billy Dee Gann on Nov. 18, 1967 in Rotan. He preceded her in death on April 22, 2008. She loved her family and family gatherings, reading Louis L’Amour Western books, baking gingerbread houses and wedding cakes, painting by numbers, word searches and traveling.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Bennett and Maimie (Smith) Bennett Murphree.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Fowler and her husband, Brian, of Snyder; one son, Shane Gann and his wife, Jeannie, of Breckenridge; five grandchildren, Lecy Hobbs and her husband, Brandon, and Brayden Fowler, all of Snyder, Sierra Gann and Megan Gann, both of Breckenridge, and Kirsten Capps and her husband, Cody, of Weatherford; one great-grandson, Braxten Fowler of Snyder; one sister, Cyd Manning of San Angelo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

1920-2019
Lillian Raye (Hobbs) Ragland, 99, of Blackwell, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019.
Funeral arrangements are pending at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.

Lucille Welch
1918-2019
Lucille Riley Welch, 101, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019.
Graveside service for Mrs. Welch will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Okla. The service will be under the direction of Miller Family Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until time of service Friday at the cemetery.
Born on April 19, 1918 in Lula, Okla. to Buck and Minnie (Byers) Riley, she married Alford Louis Welch on Jan. 5, 1944 in Ada, Okla. He preceded her in death on Dec. 27, 1983. She was a Baptist. She loved children, country music and cooking. She had a beautiful heart that was stern, but loving. She was everyone’s “Granny.”
She was also preceded in death by one son, Alford Larry Welch; two grandsons, Daniel Wells and Barrett Rouli; one great-grandson, Daniel L. Fondren II; three brothers, Delbert Riley, Curtis Riley and Andrew Riley; and two sisters, May Hobgood and Annabelle Franks.
Survivors include two daughters, Sandra Loco of Webster, Fla. and Darla Wells and her husband, Donald, of Snyder; one son, Donald Welch and his wife, Kathi, of Las Cruces, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Sheryl L. Fondren and her husband, Dan, of Lakeside, Ariz., Steven Loco of Montrose, Colo., Stacy Hinson and her husband, Woodrow, of Webster, Fla., Jason Welch of Eureka, Calif., Shawna Welch of Las Vegas, Nev., Heather Jensen and her husband, Jay, of Casper, Wyo. and Donald Wells Jr. and his wife, Veronica, of Snyder; 15 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Kimberly, Enrique, Jacob, Jessica, Crystal, Ben, Acacia, Jaelin, August, Vincent, Mariah, John, Tayla and Lucus; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Franks of Ada, Okla.
