Sylvia (Gomez) Rodriquez, 63, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, in Snyder.
A rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Friday at Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church with Father Jeremy Trull officiating.
Mrs. Rodriquez was born March 23, 1957, in Snyder to Rudolph and Abelina (Castillo) Gomez. She married Carlos Rodriquez on Jan. 27, 1986, in Snyder. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was proud to have beat cancer for over 17 years. She was well known for making tamales and handmade quilts and for her love of plants and flowers. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her father; and by her son-in-law, Ben Abrigo.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Veronica Abrigo of Lubbock and Crystal Rodriquez and husband, David Solis, of Snyder; seven grandchildren, Marc, Benjamin and Adalynn Abrigo of Lubbock and Mia. Meagan, David Jr. and Dillon Solis of Snyder; her mother and husband, Felipe, of Lubbock; her brother, Felipe Ray Garcia of Lubbock; three sisters, Florinda Bramlett and husband, Ron, of Brownfield, Patricia Sauve and Ricco of Pfluggerville and Barbara Gomez and spouse, Monica Munguia, of Austin.
