GUTHRIE — In their first game after the Thanksgiving break, the Hermleigh Lady Cardinals (3-2) came up short in a 55-39 road loss to Guthrie on Tuesday.
Hermleigh seniors Sarah Murphy and Brittany Smith combined to score 22 points, but Guthrie’s offense was too much for the Lady Cardinals.
Senior Kaylee Weaver added eight points and freshman Summer Smith contributed five points.
