Cowley named to academic all-state second team

Snyder senior Kalen Cowley was named to the Texas Army National Guard and Texas High School Coaches Association academic all-state basketball second team.

“I would like to congratulate Kalen,” Snyder head coach Lee Scott said. “This is a great honor.  Being a student-athlete is tough and to have great grades and ACT and SAT scores is even more tough.”

Honorees must have an overall grade average of 92 or higher during their freshman through junior years. The selection is based on a student’s grade average, class rank and SAT or ACT scores.
