Eighth grade Black girls finish third

ASPERMONT — The Snyder eighth grade Black girls’ basketball team finished third at the Aspermont tournament last weekend.
The eighth grade Black defeated the Snyder seventh grade Black 11-8 and lost to Benjamin, 15-7.
Melyni Garcia scored four points against the seventh grade Black and three points against Benjamin.
Caitlynn Terry added three points in the loss to Benjamin while Emma Herrera and Lexi Montoya each scored two points.
