EL PASO — Western Texas College Sophomore Colton Fritzlan continues to make a name for himself as a bull rider after winning the 2020 Casa Ford Tuff Hedeman Bull Riding title.
Fritzlan went a perfect 3-3 on the night and rode a 90.5 aboard a bull named 51 Red Armor to secure the title.
The sophomore from Rifle, Colo. picked up a check for $16,275 for winning. Fritzlan competed with 26 other riders.
In June 2019, Fritzlan finished fifth in the College National Finals Rodeo.
The Western Texas College rodeo team will compete in the Odessa College rodeo starting on Feb. 20.
