Ira girls will start playoffs Friday

IRA — The Ira Lady Bulldogs will play Sierra Blanca at 7 p.m. Friday in a Class 1A area playoff basketball game at Kermit High School.

Sierra Blanca (19-11) defeated Grandfalls-Royalty 39-36 in Tuesday’s bi-district game.

Ira (25-6) won the District 12-1A championship and had a first round bye in the playoffs.
