COLORADO CITY — Three Hermleigh powerlifters won their weight class to help the Lady Cardinals to a second-place finish at the Colorado City powerlifting meet Saturday.
Morgan Digby won the 132-pound weight class and Aaliyah Sneed won the 165-pound weight class. Amanda Long won the 220-pound weight class.
The Cardinals finished in a tie for eighth place with Garden City in the boys’ team standings. Brock Vasquez finished second in the 165-pound weight class and Jacob Guzman was second in the 198-pound weight class.
Hermleigh will compete at the Snyder Tiger Invitational on Saturday.
