A 16-3 second-quarter scoring run led the Snyder Lady Tigers to a 28-18 victory over the Colorado City JV at the Stanton Hoopstown Tournament Friday.
Snyder and the Lady Wolves were tied 4-4 at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Tigers led 20-7 at halftime and 22-14 going into the fourth quarter.
Allegra Escobedo scored 11 points while Kirsti Pierce and Skyler Hand each finished with four points.
Snyder (2-13) was scheduled to play in the consolation final at noon today.

ANDREWS — The Snyder Tigers defeated El Paso Riverside and lost to Shallowater at the Gym Brice Classic Friday.
Kalen Cowley scored 10 points the 45-40 win over Riverside. The Tigers trailed 15-5 at the end of the first quarter before rallying to tie the game at 33-33 going into the fourth quarter.
Snyder lost to Shallowater, 48-30. Cowley and Chris Depaz each scored six points.
The Tigers (4-8) were scheduled to conclude the tournament today.

ROSCOE — The Ira Bulldogs lost to Roscoe 38-30 and defeated Guthrie 42-35 at the Backland Divide Invitational Friday.
Ira led Roscoe 18-9 at halftime, but were outscored 29-12 in the second half. Brayden Corley scored 12 points and Emanual Cabrera had eight points.
Corley scored 12 points in Ira’s win over Guthrie. Carson Valentine had 10 points while Tommy Haynes added nine points.
Ira (3-6) was scheduled to play in the consolation final at 12:45 p.m. today.
