The Western Texas College softball team opened the season by losing doubleheaders to Temple College and McLennan Community College.
WTC lost to Temple College 10-3 and 9-4 Saturday.
On Sunday, the Lady Westerners lost to McLennan, 17-0 and 9-0.
WTC will play at Ranger College Tuesday starting at 1 p.m..
