Martinez signs with TAMIU

Western Texas College’s Araceli Martinez signed to play soccer with Texas A&M International University (TAMIU).

Martinez finished with seven points — three goals and an assist — in 2016.

“I chose TAMIU because the environment was really energetic,” Martinez said. “My experience at WTC was something I needed. I don’t think I would have been ready for a four-year school. The WTC faculty and classes prepared me for that and I’m grateful.”
