SWEETWATER — Despite a slow start, the Snyder Tigers’ defense came through during a 49-32 road win over Sweetwater on Friday.
The Tigers’ senior guards, Christian Escobedo and Michael Jaramillo, combined to score 32 of the team’s 49 points, helping extend the Tigers’ win streak to three.
Sweetwater jumped out to an early 4-2 lead, but Snyder (9-6, 2-0) went on a 10-2 run to end the quarter.
