PAMPA — The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Pampa 17-6 in a non-district softball game Thursday.
Pampa scored two runs in the first inning and seven in the second for a 9-0 lead.
The Lady Tigers put six runs on the scoreboard during the third inning, highlighted by Alyssa Benitez’ and Jasmine Montoya’s 2-run doubles.
Pampa scored three runs in the third and ended the game on the run rule with five runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Snyder (13-11, 0-1 District 5-4A) will resume district play by hosting Wylie Tuesday.
