RANGER — The Western Texas College softball team lost a doubleheader, 14-1 and 12-4, to Ranger College Tuesday.
Priscilla Guzman, Carmen Spring, Kawena Cabrera and Kaitlyn Hicks each hit singles in the first game. Alyssa Adames hit two singles and a double in the second game while Bailey McAlpine had a single and home run.
The Lady Westerners (0-6) were scheduled to host McCook Community College in a doubleheader starting at 1 p.m. today.
