Smith commits to Emporia State

Western Texas College (WTC) freshman basketball player Ben Smith announced his commitment to Emporia State University in Kansas.
Smith, a six-foot-six freshman, averaged 8.2 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game and carried a 48.4 shooting percentage during his one season at WTC.
“I want to thank my coaches, coach Cooper, coach Hardy and coach Owens for bringing me to Western Texas,” Smith wrote on Twitter. “Thank you to all my teammates at Western Texas too. I would like to announce that I will be furthering my education and basketball career at Emporia State University!”
