Snyder JV volleyball finishes second in Denver City

The Snyder JV volleyball team took second place in the silver bracket at the Denver City Tournament Saturday.
The Lady Tigers went 1-3 in pool play on Friday, with their one win being a 2-1 (25-22, 25-22, 21-25) victory over Presidio.
In bracket play on Saturday, Snyder lost its first match to Lubbock before back-to-back 2-0 wins over Lubbock Estacado and Midland Classical. The Lady Tigers fell to Lubbock Christian in the silver championship, 2-0.
The Snyder freshman team lost both pool play games on Saturday, but bounced back and won both their bracket games on Saturday with wins over Compass Academy and Lubbock Estacado.
Both teams will be back in action Tuesday in a road match-up against Colorado City.
