Snyder teams fall to Estacado

LUBBOCK — The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Lubbock Estacado 67-30 in a District 2-4A basketball game Tuesday.
Estacado held a 13-6 lead after the first quarter and used a 15-6 second quarter run to take a 34-14 halftime lead.
The Lady Matadors increased the lead to 51-20 after three quarters.
Alize Conner led Snyder with eight points while Michelle Rios added six points.

JV Black girls
The Snyder JV Black lost to Estacado, 69-42.
Shelby Meader scored 11 points while Marisa Molinar had nine points. Angela Murillo finished with eight points.

Boys
The Snyder Tigers started the second half of the district schedule with a 67-28 loss to Lubbock Estacado.
Estacado led 13-3 after the first quarter and 36-5 at halftime. The lead grew to 51-8 at the end of the third quarter.
Snyder (17-10, 0-6) was led by Dralon Jackson with 13 points while Trey Samaniego added seven.
Snyder will host Big Spring on Friday. The Lady Tigers will play at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Tigers at 8 p.m.
