Snyder teams lose to Wylie

ABILENE — District 5-4A leader Wylie defeated Snyder 81-32 at Bulldog Gym Tuesday.
Snyder is currently tied with Sweetwater, which lost to Big Spring 49-46, for fourth place in the district.
Snyder trailed 28-9 at the end of the first quarter and 49-17 at halftime.
Wylie led 71-21 going into the fourth quarter.
Cedrick Quiroz scored 11 points and Nathan Kendrick had six points.

Freshmen Boys
The Snyder freshman team lost to Wylie, 61-42.
Teafale Lenard finished with 10 points while Kobe Roemisch and Julian Rodriguez each scored seven points.

Girls
The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Wylie, 82-30.
Snyder trailed 13-9 at the end of the first quarter and 40-13 at halftime.
Michelle Rios scored 17 points and Skyler Hand had four points.
Snyder will host Sweetwater Friday with the girls’ game scheduled for 6:15 p.m., followed by the boys’ game at 7:30 p.m.
Friday’s game will be the final home game for the Lady Tigers.
