Snyder’s Shad Hodge prepared to make a backhand return during a match against Amarillo Palo Duro at the Snyder ISD tennis courts Wednesday. Hodge won both his singles and doubles matches Wednesday.
The Snyder tennis team defeated Amarillo Palo Duro 10-9 Wednesday at the Snyder ISD tennis courts.
It was the season opener for both teams and Snyder will return to action this weekend at the Wichita Falls tournament. Snyder will host Brownfield on Tuesday.
Snyder’s boys won two of the six singles matches, with Shad Hodge and Eli McClain both claiming wins.
The girls won four of the six singles matches.
Carolyn Stelluti, Morgan Chapman, Desire Malmsten and Marry Kerr all won their match.
