KLONDIKE — Anthony Sosa and Nathan Goodwin each scored in double figures in Ira’s 60-50 win over Klondike in the Klondike Cougar Basketball Classic consolation bracket Thursday.
The Bulldogs led 37-31 at halftime and outscored Klondike 23-19 during the second half.
Sosa finished with 21 points while Goodwin had 16 points. Emanual Cabrera added nine points.
Ira (4-12) will play at San Angelo Cornerstone Tuesday.

MONAHANS — The Snyder Tigers lost to Canyon Randall and Kermit at the Sandhills Basketball Tournament.
Snyder lost to Kermit, 42-35. The Tigers trailed 22-21 at halftime before Kermit took control with an 11-4 scoring run in the third quarter. Snyder outscored Kermit 10-9 in the fourth quarter.
Alonzo Wesley scored 15 points and Chris Depaz added 11 points.
The Tigers lost to Randall, 64-32. No scoring information was available.
Snyder (4-15) was scheduled to conclude the tournament against Monahans at 4 p.m. today.

BURKBURNETT — The Snyder Lady Tigers lost to Burkburnett and Mineral Wells at the Union Square Christmas Classic.
Allegra Escobedo and Michelle Rios each scored eight points in the 68-28 loss to Burkburnett. Skyler Hand had seven points and Rios added six points in the 71-30 loss to Mineral Wells.
Snyder (3-20) will open District 5-4A play at Big Spring Jan. 6.

EULA — The Ira Lady Bulldogs lost to Hico 59-45 in the Eula Holiday Classic quarterfinals.
Ira trailed 18-13 after the first quarter and 33-27 at halftime. Hico outscored the Lady Bulldogs 26-18 in the second half.
Alyssa Goodwin scored 15 points and Madison Peterson had 12 points. Sierra Welch scored nine.
Ira (15-3) will play at Sweetwater Tuesday.
