Sophomore Alonso Wesley and senior Chris Dickinson were named to the 2017 District 5-4A all-district basketball team.
Wesley averaged eight points, three steals and three rebounds per game during district. Overall, he averaged six points, two steals and three rebounds per game.
Dickinson averaged three points, three blocks and four rebounds per game.
Three of the four individuals awards were give to Wylie players. Dylan Isenhower was named the district most valuable player. Dion Novil was named the offensive most valuable player and Sam King was the newcomer of the year. Brownwood’s Corleone Pressley was the defensive most valuable player.
